A 35-year-old guy from Gwanda named Philani Sibanda got busted for hitting up a Bulawayo supermarket with some buddies who are still on the run. They rolled up to Hamara Supermarket in Pumula East wearing balaclavas and packing pistols, then made everyone hit the floor while they grabbed $370 from the registers. Sibanda apparently just posted up at the door, keeping watch while his crew cleaned out the tills, and the whole thing got caught on camera.
Cops finally tracked him down at a sports club after getting tipped off, and when they grabbed him, they found a loaded 9mm on him with 15 rounds ready to go. He's sitting in custody waiting for his trial next month, and police are still hunting for the other suspects who helped pull off the heist.
