Gyampo urges sensitive handling of Ofori-Atta's investigation

Professor Ransford Gyampo wants government workers to treat Ken Ofori-Atta fairly during his corruption investigation. The teacher thinks officials should remember that the former Finance Minister might be sick right ahead. Gyampo spoke about this case during a Saturday TV show on TV3. He believes everyone deserves kind treatment when health problems affect them. State workers should check if Ofori-Atta really stays at Mayo Clinic for medical care.

Dr Joshua Zaato thinks security teams should visit the American hospital and find out the truth. He wants intelligence officers to track where Ofori-Atta goes using his passport information. Zaato believes simple detective work can solve this mystery without arguments between different government offices. The Special Prosecutor office put Ofori-Atta on their wanted list after he missed his June 2 meeting. Officials claim he broke his promise to answer questions about money problems.

Angela Ofori-Atta defends her husband and says he fights cancer instead of running from responsibility. She told radio listeners that Ken always faces difficult questions about his work. The wife explained that her family chose his health over government meetings during his treatment. Angela said Ken offered to talk through video calls or send answers through his lawyers. Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng rejected these ideas because he had not charged Ken with crimes.

The investigation covers five major cases about how Ofori-Atta handled public money during his time working for President Akufo-Addo. People across Ghana watch this case closely as it becomes one of the most important corruption probes recently.
