Hamza Choudhury lands in Dhaka for Hong Kong clash

Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury landed in Dhaka on Monday morning to join Bangladesh's squad for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup Qualifier matches against Hong Kong and China. Journalists assembled at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport before dawn to greet the player. Choudhury exited through the VIP gate around 11:30 a.m., waved to reporters, and departed for the team hotel with police protection.

Team manager Amer Khan said Choudhury would participate in afternoon training sessions. Bangladesh has drawn 0-0 with India, but lost 1-2 to Singapore in the Group C competition. The team hopes to recover in their next match against Hong Kong at National Stadium on Oct. 9, with Choudhury's presence raising squad confidence.
