Heritage Audio applied knowledge from its RAM monitor controller development to create the transparent sound profile in these passive units.
The 73 DI One and 73 DI 2 feature active circuits with J109 JFET input stages that provide 2.2 megaohm impedance. A metal-can 2n3055 output transistor drives a custom transformer to shape instrument tones similar to vintage preamps. The active models work with guitars, basses, keyboards, synthesizers, and drum machines. Prices range from 119 euros for the P DI One to 349 euros for the 73 DI 2.
