Hilda Baci gets a Guinness World Record for the biggest jollof rice serving

Guinness World Records officially recognized Hilda Baci for creating the largest Nigerian-style jollof rice serving. The celebrity chef achieved this feat by preparing 8,780 kilograms of the traditional dish. Her accomplishment took place during the Gino World Jollof Festival at Eko Hotels and Suites on Victoria Island. The September 12, 2025, event attracted thousands of participants and generated substantial social media attention. Celebrity supporters attended the festival to witness this record attempt.

Baci previously earned international recognition in 2023 for setting the record for the longest cooking marathon. The Lagos celebration featured prominent personalities, including Funke Akindele, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Tomike Adeoye, and Pastor Idowu. Bamidele Abiodun, wife of the Ogun State Governor, also participated in supporting the chef. This latest achievement reinforces Baci's position among Nigeria's most accomplished culinary professionals. The record represents another significant milestone in her career.
