Police in Ruwa are searching for a Honda Fit driver after a passenger died following a physical altercation over change. The victim, Amos Karumba, had paid his fare with a US dollar and was allegedly assaulted by the driver, identified as Luckman Kamangile, concerning a dispute over 20 ZiG in change. Karumba later succumbed to his injuries at home.
In a separate incident in Masvingo, a man was arrested for the murder of his wife. Police reported that Kainos Masekesa allegedly attacked his wife, Trish Sithembile Masaiti, with fists, logs, and a hoe following a domestic dispute. The attack was reportedly triggered by allegations of infidelity. Masekesa remains in police custody.
