Irish music fans learned about five major artists heading to Electric Picnic this year. The festival just named Wicklow native Hozier and American pop star Chappell Roan as two big performers. Rock band Kings of Leon, British singer Sam Fender, and DJ Fatboy Slim round out the headliners for the event in County Laois.
Hozier kicks off the festival Friday night, August 29th. His return to Stradbally happens exactly ten years after he released his first album. Sam Fender takes the stage Saturday night, playing hits from People Watching, his newest chart-topping album. Later that evening, Fatboy Slim closes the main stage with his famous dance beats.
