Imo CP Rounds Up Rogue Checkpoint Cops

Imo State Police Commissioner Aboki Danjuma visits checkpoints across the state to watch officer behavior. He wants to improve police work and help people trust officers more. The visits happen because citizens complain about police asking for money and treating people badly. Danjuma talks to officers about doing their jobs right and respecting people's rights. He warns that bad officers will lose their jobs and face court charges.

Seven police officers got arrested during the surprise visits for breaking rules. The department will punish these officers according to police laws and procedures. Danjuma tells drivers not to give money to any officer on duty. He says officers cannot take phones from people without proper reasons. Police spokesperson Henry Okoye explains that taking money from citizens breaks the law.

The commissioner gives out phone numbers for people to report bad police behavior. Citizens can call the X-Squad and Complaint Response Unit to share problems with officers. All reports stay private and receive quick attention from police leaders. Danjuma promises to build a police force that serves people with honesty. He works to make residents trust police officers again through better training and oversight.
