India tops the group at the Badminton Asia Junior Mixed Team Championships with a win over Hong Kong China

India secured the top position in Group D after defeating Hong Kong China 110-100 during their final group match at the Badminton Asia Junior Mixed Team Championships in Indonesia. The victory preserved India's perfect record throughout the group stage competition. Both teams had already earned qualification for the knockout rounds before Sunday's encounter. India fielded their strongest lineup to maintain winning momentum against Hong Kong China. The relay scoring format requires teams to reach 110 points across ten individual matches.

Rujula Ramu opened India's campaign with an 11-8 victory over IP Sum Yau. The world number six junior boys doubles pair Bhargav Ram Arigela and Viswa Tej Gobburu extended India's advantage to 22-13. Junior world number one Tanvi Sharma dominated her opponent to give India a commanding 66-54 lead. India maintained their advantage through the remaining contests to secure group leadership. The team will advance to face Japan in Monday's quarterfinal match after Japan finished second in Group A behind Thailand.
