Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare opened the Indongo Training Centre in Windhoek on Monday, a facility designed to develop automotive industry skills for Namibian workers. The dealership's general manager, Miranda Bosman, said the center represents a commitment to workforce education and technical advancement. Frans Indongo Group chairman Silvanus Kathindi credited partnerships with Toyota South Africa Motors and the Namibia Training Authority for making the project possible.
The facility will offer practical instruction for mechanics, technicians, and automotive professionals seeking career development. Ngurare called for cooperation between government agencies and private businesses to build technical expertise across the country. Toyota South Africa Motors general manager Giel Oberholzer emphasized safety standards and compliance protocols as priorities for training programs at the new center.
