Music technology company Inouï samples has launched Trombibone for Kontakt software. The new digital instrument lets brass players make multiple sounds at once through an acoustic design.
The sample library contains 2,789 individual recordings made with the trombibone instrument. Musicians can access 91 different playing styles that cover the full chromatic range. These techniques span from sustained notes to short bursts and include pedal tones and marcato attacks.
The company offers the product at a reduced launch price of 90 euros through July 3rd, 2025. After the promotional period ends, Trombibone will cost 120 euros. The instrument works with Native Instruments Kontakt sampler platform.
Brass musicians can explore multiphonic capabilities that traditional instruments cannot produce alone. The trombibone design enables players to create complex harmonic textures and layered sounds. Each sample captures the unique acoustic properties of this specialized brass instrument.
