Intel Battlemage BMG G31 GPU nears launch with new device IDs and RTX 5060 Ti rival specs

Intel advances development of its larger Battlemage graphics processor through recent software updates. The company added four device identifiers to its Compute Runtime system for the BMG-G31 chip. Developers spotted these additions in version 25.27.34303.5 of the runtime software. The new identifiers suggest Intel prepares to launch products based on this enhanced graphics die. Software commits confirm active development continues for this anticipated hardware release.

The BMG-G31 processor represents a significant upgrade from current Battlemage offerings. Reports indicate the chip will feature 32 processing cores compared to 16 cores in existing products. Engineers expect the larger design will deliver performance comparable to competing graphics cards priced between $350 and $450. Intel may price BMG-G31 products around $329 to $349 when they reach market. Late 2025 appears likely for commercial availability of these enhanced graphics solutions.
