Islamabad to hunt down all cars without new green sticker

The Islamabad Transport Authority launched vehicle emission inspections across Pakistan's capital city. Officials expanded their testing program from government fleets to private automobiles under the Vehicle Emission Testing System. Citizens brought their cars to a testing facility near D-Chowk and received compliance certificates after passing environmental standards. Chairman Irfan Memon announced that advanced equipment ensures accurate measurements during the inspection process. The authority plans to establish testing centers throughout Islamabad.

Vehicles that meet emission requirements receive official stickers confirming their environmental compliance. Memon warned that traffic police will target automobiles operating without proper certification during upcoming enforcement operations. The testing camp attracted numerous residents who supported the environmental protection initiative. Citizens praised the efficient inspection procedures and quick processing times. This program aims to reduce harmful vehicle emissions while protecting public health in the federal capital.
