Islamabad's Mashhood charts a pro career path for Pakistan esports

Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan advocates for building Pakistan's complete esports framework through the Digital Youth Hub program. The Prime Minister's Youth Programme chairman met British Esports Federation representatives and Pakistan Esports Task Force members. Their discussions addressed policy development and structural support for the gaming industry's expansion. Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance Secretariat participated in these collaborative efforts.

The initiative provides Pakistani youth access to scholarships, internships, and international career pathways within competitive gaming. Khan identifies training programs, professional development, and infrastructure as essential components for sector growth. Gaming and animation present profitable employment options for young professionals. Mental health considerations and responsible gaming practices received attention during negotiations.

Laine Robinsun from the Commonwealth Secretariat praised Pakistan's advancement toward progressive esports policies. Khan highlighted the nation's expanding role in global game development markets. The Digital Youth Hub operates as Pakistan's primary centralized digital platform connecting young people with esports opportunities. Khan reaffirmed the government's dedication to providing youth with the necessary resources for international success.
