Jackie Ngarande who is currently the ambassador of the "Single Mothers Foundation in Zimbabwe," inquired via an Instagram post to know what are the benefits of being a married woman.
Aah. Some questions require common sense.
If you think it's common sense. Why don't you tell us what marriage is about in your own point of view?
OR — she is one of those indecisive people who believe that marriage is not an achievement, but spends a lot of time giving people advice on dating and relationships.
What does that really mean?
Jackie Ngarande often times tries to lecture Zimbos about social media being fake. (of which she is a hypocrite but for now that's another topic so let's leave it at that and continue...).
In other words, I am basically saying when you give people dating advice either you are gearing them towards a long-term commitment or flings and shacking up (kuchaya mapoto — cohabitation).
Therefore, you shouldn't do that if your list about the benefits of marriage is empty because you clearly don't have any idea of what you'd be talking about. It would be better to stick to the other lane of shacking up.
That's a bit too harsh.
That's a bit too harsh.
We are talking of reality here. So it's not harsh. Men either want to perpetually pump and dump or to settle down with time. Hello...![]()
