Bangladesh's top security chief met with American diplomats yesterday to ask for more help fighting crime and terrorism. Lieutenant General Jahangir Alam Chowdhury sat down with US Embassy Deputy Chief Megan Bouldin at his office in Dhaka. The two officials talked about working together on security issues that affect both countries. Chowdhury told Bouldin that America has been a great partner in keeping Bangladesh safe from terrorists. He said US training and equipment helped make the police counter-terrorism unit much stronger and more effective.
