Jamaat-e-Islami leader vows to resist rigged elections, warns of unrest

Jamaat leader Dr. Shafiqur Rahman threw down the gauntlet about fake elections during a roadside speech Saturday morning. The party chief warned that another rigged vote like the ones from 2014, 2018, and 2024 would spark major trouble. Rahman told crowds that people have died for change before and will do it again if politicians try dirty tricks. He spoke from Alekhar Char on the Comilla Highway as he traveled toward Feni for a big conference. The religious party boss made his threats crystal clear to anyone thinking about election fraud.

Rahman fired up supporters by talking about students and workers who fought for their rights. He said the battle continues against all forms of fascism whether old or new varieties try to take control. The Jamaat chief promised his group would keep fighting until the fascist system completely disappears from Bangladesh. Rahman stressed that their war targets the entire corrupt system rather than individual bad actors. His speech came during several roadside stops on his journey to deliver the main address at the Rukon Conference.

The party leader planned to speak at a gathering of important citizens once he reached Feni. Rahman used his travel time to address multiple crowds along the highway route. His stern warnings about election integrity reached hundreds of people during these impromptu rallies. The Jamaat chief made sure his message about fair elections spread far and wide.
