Jealous Husband Pellets MP at Hotel Car Park

A parliament member faced gunfire from a jealous husband during a hotel parking lot encounter last week. Wilson Makondesa shot at the politician with a pellet gun before attacking him physically. The 38-year-old panel beater suspected his separated wife was having a romantic relationship with the lawmaker. Makondesa tracked his estranged spouse, Rejoice Govera, through a car monitoring device. He discovered her location and rushed to confront both people at the city hotel.

Rejoice Govera left her husband in February last year and moved into separate housing. The 37-year-old woman says Makondesa has been living with another female partner since their separation. She obtained a court peace order against her estranged spouse, but claims he violates the legal protection. Makondesa stalks her movements constantly and changes her address multiple times to escape his harassment. The woman regrets marrying him after he paid the bride price within two weeks of their first date.

Makondesa admits he felt jealous when he found his wife talking with the unnamed politician. He blocked their vehicle and confronted the parliament member before assaulting him severely. The husband says he never found them in compromising positions or hotel rooms together. Security guards told him his wife had left her car and returned with someone else. He remains legally married to Rejoice despite their physical separation and ongoing disputes.
