Jensen Huang's praise for TSMC in Taiwan is just veiled desperation

Jensen Huang traveled to Taiwan to strengthen ties with semiconductor manufacturer TSMC during his recent business trip. The NVIDIA chief executive praised investors who purchased TSMC shares as intelligent decision-makers while predicting sustained demand for the foundry's services. Huang confirmed successful Blackwell Ultra manufacturing and announced trial production phases for the upcoming Rubin architecture. He credited TSMC's engineering teams for delivering high-quality semiconductor solutions that power artificial intelligence applications. The partnership between both companies has grown stronger as computational requirements continue expanding.

TSMC serves as NVIDIA's primary manufacturing partner and largest customer relationship for the Taiwan-based foundry. Huang revealed plans for six new Rubin processors under development at TSMC facilities. These products encompass graphics processing units, central processing units, and networking components for next-generation computing systems. The collaboration spans multiple years with TSMC's American expansion supporting continued joint ventures. Both executives expect their business relationship to deepen as artificial intelligence markets mature.
