Jerry Rawlings's son Kimathi, shocks Accra with secret KiDi Odo wedding

Kimathi Rawlings married his sweetheart at a secret ceremony away from cameras and crowds. The son of former President Jerry John Rawlings and ex-First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings said his vows with close family watching. Friends and important people joined the couple for their special day. A video shows the groom wearing a stunning white agbada next to his beautiful bride. The party moved to a reception where the newlyweds showed off their moves on the dance floor. Kimathi and his wife danced to KiDi's hit song "Odo" as everyone cheered them on. Kimathi was born during the 1980s in Accra and got his name from Kenyan freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi. He has three older brothers and sisters. His sister Dr. Zanetor Agyemang-Rawlings serves as a Member of Parliament. Kimathi studied International Business at Aston University in Birmingham and earned his degree. He has spent more than ten years working in the oil and gas business.

Since 2010, Kimathi has worked as a Commercial and Portfolio Advisor for Eni, a major energy company with offices in Rome, Italy. People from across Ghana and other countries have sent kind messages to the happy couple. The private wedding has created excitement on social media. Many fans of the Rawlings family celebrated the good news. The couple plans to enjoy their honeymoon before returning to work.
