Joan Mir Tops MotoGP Crash Count with Thirteen Falls This Season

Joan Mir crashes more than any other MotoGP rider this season. The Honda racer hit the ground thirteen times already. Brad Binder comes second with twelve spills on his KTM bike. Alex Márquez and Johann Zarco each tumbled eleven times during races. Franco Morbidelli and Jack Miller both fell ten times this year.

Rookie Ai Ogura struggles with nine crashes as he learns the ropes. Marc Márquez rides more carefully this season compared to his past record-breaking tumbles. Fabio Quartararo and Pedro Acosta also had several mishaps during different races. Pecco Bagnaia went down six times and lost important championship points. Raúl Fernández and Enea Bastianini hit the gravel multiple times.

Some riders stay upright better than others this season. Maverick Viñales and Álex Rins adapted well to their motorcycles. Miguel Oliveira crashed just twice but missed several races because of injuries. Fabio Di Giannantonio only fell once during the entire season. The crash numbers keep growing as more races happen around the world.

Honda faces major problems with their bikes this year. Mir pushes his machine beyond its limits trying to compete. The team struggles to match other manufacturers like Ducati and KTM. Luca Marini stays safe during MotoGP races but got hurt training for another event. The sport remains dangerous despite all the safety improvements over recent years.
