On Friday, October 24, 2025, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Abdoulie Jobe inaugurated a new Board of Directors for the National Centre for Arts and Culture at the ministry’s conference room in Banjul. Mrs. Nahla Tambedou will serve as chairperson, joined by Musa Sise, Haruna Drammeh, and Badara Jallow.
The NCAC works to preserve and promote The Gambia’s cultural heritage, supporting the National Development Plan’s aim to grow sustainable, people-centered tourism. Minister Jobe urged the board to collaborate closely with NCAC management to improve service delivery and institutional performance. The board will serve a three-year term.
