The Johor State Legislative Assembly has unanimously approved its 2026 budget, a surplus financial plan with projected expenditures of 2.546 billion ringgit. The budget, themed around the well-being of its people, passed following a three-day debate involving 56 state assemblymen.

He stated that the financial plan was developed in alignment with the state's six core advancement thrusts, encompassing 260 separate initiatives.
