Jonathan Antony nails gold at Delhi Junior World Cup

Sixteen-year-old Jonathan Gavin Antony dominated the men's 10m air pistol competition at the ISSF Junior World Cup in New Delhi. The Indian shooter qualified first with 586-19x before winning gold by an impressive 8.5-point margin in the finals. Italy's Luca Arrighi earned silver while Spain's Lucas Sanchez Tome captured bronze in the eight-man final. His victory highlighted another strong performance by the host nation's young athletes.

Individual Neutral Athlete Evelina Shiena claimed gold in the women's 10m air pistol event with a score of 240.9. India's Rashmika Sahgal fought hard but settled for silver, finishing 4.8 points behind the winner. Iran's Fatemah Shekari completed the podium by taking bronze with 213.8 points. Saturday's program features three finals, with skeet competitions and the mixed team air pistol event scheduled.
