Nigerian reporter Francess Ogbonnaya accused UK businesswoman Sandra Duru of trying to pay her for attack audio against Senator Natasha. She claims Duru offered 300,000 naira for a harmful voiceover about the Kogi Central lawmaker. Ogbonnaya refused the job because it went against her journalism values. She said her recording would have falsely claimed Senator Natasha wanted to fight against the Yoruba people in government.
Duru earlier stated that Senator Natasha tried giving her 200 million naira to make fake claims about Senate President Akpabio. Ogbonnaya disputes what Duru said about harassment claims. She insists the original audio never showed Natasha denying that sexual harassment happened. The journalist believes any such recording must have been altered from what she heard.
Ogbonnaya also mentioned that Duru claimed to manipulate other politicians through blackmail. She warned Akpabio to be careful around Duru because of these practices. According to her statement, police should look into these matters. Ogbonnaya remains ready to share more evidence if Duru challenges her version of events.
