The people who run courts in Uganda want to build a new court in Ibanda District. This will help people who live far away from big courts. Mr. Mawanda, who speaks for the courts, said they talked to leaders from Ibanda, Kamwenge, and places nearby. Everyone agreed that Ibanda was the best spot for the new court.
The court leaders wanted to start working quickly, so they asked the district to share some office space. "We want to talk with the district leaders about using their buildings for the court. If they cannot help, we will pay for other places. We want people to have court help very soon," Mr. Mawanda said.
The mayor of Ibanda likes this plan a lot. Mr. Kibeherere said his town gave three acres of land to build the new court. "We want to help the court people. We already gave them land to build the court buildings," the mayor said.
