Jury says Metro didn't do it, Lil Wayne's safe

A California jury determined Metro Boomin bears no responsibility for sexual assault allegations filed by Vanessa LeMaistre. Court reporter Meghan Cuniff confirmed that jurors dismissed all four claims against the producer after determining insufficient evidence existed. The case gained additional attention when LeMaistre testified about her relationship with Lil Wayne during proceedings. She claimed the rapper wrote his song about their ten-month romance and fathered her deceased child.

LeMaistre alleged Metro provided medication and alcohol before assaulting her at a hotel during 2016. She testified about awakening during the attack and subsequently terminating the resulting pregnancy. Defense attorneys characterized her as vindictive and presented text messages that contradicted her accusations. The jury accepted the defense argument and rejected her claims.
