Just Mustard Serve Toxic Happy Shoegaze Vibes with PollyAnna

Just Mustard returns with their new song PollyAnna after staying quiet since 2022. The Irish rock band from Dundalk had not released music since their album Heart Under came out two years ago. Singer Katie Ball directed the music video and said the track explores toxic happiness themes. The band shot footage around their hometown using old CCTV and VHS cameras. Ball wanted to capture the kind of fun that makes people feel sick right away.

The song moves toward dreamy shoegaze sounds that recall earlier musical styles. Just Mustard will play several shows across different countries this year. They have festival dates planned for Green Man Festival and Electric Picnic during late summer. The band also scheduled smaller venue concerts in major cities like New York and London.

Electric Picnic marks their next Irish performance on August 30th. The five-piece group consists of Katie Ball and four other musicians from the same area. PollyAnna arrives through Partisan Records and represents their first new material in quite some time. Fans can expect more music as the band prepares for their upcoming tour dates.
