Kalonzo scoffs at Ruto-ODM alliance talk, unity faces big test

Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka laughed off buzz about President Ruto teaming up with ODM for the next election cycle, saying the supposed partnership will collapse before anyone casts a ballot. He claimed political operators are just trying to look strong while Gen Z voters sit back and watch attempts at voter suppression play out.

Ruto gave props to the broad-based government after recent by-election wins, crediting party unity for sweeping contests in Baringo, Banisa, Malava, Magarini, Ugunja, and Kasipul. Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga backed him up by roasting critics who doubted the coalition, and he hinted that UDA-ODM cooperation might roll into future races.
