Kasibante hits Kiboga markets, vows to fix roads and roast grafters

National Peasants Party presidential hopeful Robert Kasibante is taking his pitch directly to people in Kiboga District, asking for their votes in the upcoming election. He is skipping the big rallies for smaller chats at places like Bukomero market, talking about fixing broken roads, helping the failing education system, and tackling the tough economy with specific plans to help regular folks. He told people to protect their votes for a clean election process.

Kasibante promised real local changes, like building better market shelters for traders. He also said he would fire ministers and Resident District Commissioners who waste public money, pushing a message of government accountability. In an interesting move, he even told crowds to back opposition figure Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu from the NUP, too, framing it as a united front against the current administration.

His campaign in the area has been quiet so far, with no major incidents reported. He is planning to keep this low-key tour going next in Kyankwanzi District, trying to build up support as what he calls a real choice.
