Katsina Cops Free 11 Hostages in Daring Showdown

Police officers saved eleven kidnapped people during a rescue mission on June 8. The operation happened near Danmusa Local Government Area along the road between Danmusa and Mara Dangeza village. Security forces fought armed bandits and stopped another kidnapping attempt. Intelligence officers worked with police agencies to track down the criminals. The combined team scattered the kidnappers after a gunfight.

Force spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi praised the quick police response that freed all victims. He said teamwork between different security groups helps fight violent crimes across Nigeria. The rescue shows how cooperation can stop dangerous criminal activities. Security agencies proved they can work together effectively against bandits. Joint operations give better results than single-agency efforts.

Katsina State faces regular problems with kidnapping and rural banditry attacks. Officials said they will not accept continued violence against innocent people. Police added more officers and improved their intelligence gathering methods. Security forces promise daily patrols and stronger operations to break up criminal groups. The authorities want to protect citizens and restore peace to dangerous areas.
