KCB Bank launches 'Kyaddala ne KCB' campaign to promote saving culture

KCB Bank Uganda rolled out a major money-saving contest that runs for four months across the country. The bank kicked off their Kyaddala ne KCB campaign on Thursday to help people build better financial habits. Bank officials want customers to save more cash and win amazing prizes during the competition. Sheila Awori leads the marketing team and says the bank wants saving to become a way of life for everyone. The contest targets both loyal customers and new people who want to join the bank.

People who want to enter must open a bank account and put in at least 100,000 shillings right away. They have to keep adding that same amount every week to stay eligible for prizes. Current customers can join just by making those weekly deposits into their existing accounts. Anyone over 18 with a national ID card can participate in the savings challenge. Higher deposits give people better chances to win the monthly drawings.

Branch winners receive free KCB merchandise every week for their efforts. Regional contests offer shopping money and school fee payments as monthly rewards. The biggest prizes come during the final drawing scheduled for October. Lucky winners could take home land plots, electric motorcycles, cows, and other valuable gifts. Investment groups also benefit since the first 100 clubs receive free registration and some get doubled account balances.
