Kedah activated a temporary relief center at Sekolah Kebangsaan Langgar in Alor Setar on Sunday as flood evacuees at Dewan Serbaguna Pokok Sena increased to 109 people from 33 families. State Civil Defense Force deputy director Major Muhammad Suhaimi Mohd Zain said Sungai Kedah at Jabatan Lebuhraya reached alert level at 1.84 meters, but the weather remained clear, with flooding caused by water flow from Pokok Sena into Pekan Langgar.
