Kenya Health Shakeup Hits 22 Million Signups

Rex Maina rides across Kenya with his camera, capturing life through his lens. Known as Kigonyi wa Nduthi, he travels on his BMW GS1200 motorcycle through dusty roads and remote villages. He began his journey using a small Bajaj Boxer for business deliveries before discovering his love for adventure photography. Freedom comes to him on two wheels as he documents landscapes others never see. His photographs show the quiet dignity of roadside traders and dawn-lit forests.

Rex prefers the route from West Pokot to Kakuma for its beautiful scenery and improved roads. He chooses adventure bikes over racing models because they offer comfort during long trips. The Kenyan biking community grows stronger every day, with many riders joining groups online to share experiences. Bad roads with dangerous potholes create hazards for all riders across the country. Rex works to build connections between bikers and government officials to make riding safer.
