Bashundhara Shuvosangho distributed food packages to disadvantaged families on Monday during Ashtami celebrations in Khulna. The organization provided oil, sugar, pulses, vermicelli, and flour from its temporary district office to residents struggling with poverty during the religious festival.
Lakshmi Dutta said the assistance allowed her household to properly observe Durga Puja traditions after financial hardship had diminished their ability to celebrate. Panchanan Babu thanked volunteers for enabling him to bring provisions home to his family despite his health challenges.
