King Salman Relief sends massive aid convoy to Punjab, Kasur to Bahawalnagar

Saudi Arabia's King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center launched massive emergency assistance operations for Punjab's flood victims. The relief convoy targets six severely affected districts across the province. Kasur, Jalalpur, Alipur, Liaqatpur, Rajanpur, and Bahawalnagar receive priority distribution support. Thousands of displaced families benefit from comprehensive aid packages. The Center allocated substantial resources for immediate humanitarian response.

Emergency supplies reach affected communities through coordinated distribution networks. Each family receives shelter kits containing tents, solar lighting systems, thermal blankets, floor coverings, cooking equipment, water storage containers, and hygiene products. Food assistance packages weighing 95 kilograms provide essential nutrition through flour, sugar, legumes, and cooking oils. The operation delivers 10,000 shelter kits alongside 10,000 food packages to vulnerable households. Distribution efforts maintain transparency through collaborative oversight and management.

The National Disaster Management Authority partners with provincial authorities and local administrators to facilitate relief operations. Hayat Foundation serves as the implementing partner for effective aid delivery. This humanitarian mission demonstrates Saudi Arabia's continued commitment to Pakistan during natural disasters. The initiative strengthens bilateral cooperation between the two nations through practical assistance.
