KMC Mayor launches Unite Movement for Change in call to action

KMC Mayor Talib Bensouda has called for broad support for the Unite Movement for Change, speaking at the inaugural meeting of the movement on Sunday. The mayor said the movement stands for integrity, transformation, and inclusion, emphasizing that it aims to leave no one behind. He thanked those who have already registered their support and urged citizens to help mobilize more people, describing the strong response as encouraging.

Bensouda explained that the movement belongs to all Gambians seeking change and will soon become a truly inclusive political party. Various committees, such as the Secretariat and Administrative, Communication, National Mobilization Drive, Fundraising, and Constitutional Building Committees, have been formed to manage its activities. UDP loyalist Ebrima Dibba also addressed the gathering, encouraging citizens to support the Unite Movement for Change in pursuit of the transformation Gambians desire.
