KO_OP has surprise-launched Young Suns through Xbox Game Pass, marking the developer's follow-up to Goodbye Volcano High. The multiplayer narrative simulator supports one to four participants who assume control of Sundog, a vessel operator helping to establish a post-revolutionary society among Jupiter's liberated inhabitants. Players will encounter 30 characters while navigating the challenges of rebuilding civilization after defeating corporate oppressors.
The early access version will expand through updates targeting friendship systems, workbench improvements, cosmetic additions, and technical refinements. Future content plans encompass planetary wildlife, minigames, additional story missions, and photography features. Steam represents the sole confirmed platform beyond Xbox at present, with PlayStation and Nintendo editions remaining unannounced.
