Kojo Barnni captured his fourth Goldfields Damang Open Golf Tournament title after maintaining his lead through the final round at a venue competitors described as among the nation's most challenging layouts. The Tarkwa golfer collected 60,000 cedis while Lucky Ayisah earned 35,000 cedis for second position and Maxwell Owusu Bonsu shared third with Vincent Cofie for 34,000 cedis combined.
Emos Koblah won the senior category with 30,000 cedis ahead of E.K. Osei and Anthony Gbenyo. Senegalese player Oumy Diaye topped the professional women's field for 25,000 cedis, with South African M. Zethu taking 17,000 cedis and Ivorian Vivian Kouame claiming 13,000 cedis.
