Authorities detained a 28-year-old man holding a Datuk title for three days after Magistrate Rais Imran Hamid approved the police request on Tuesday. Officers believe he participated in a smuggling operation that diverted 11,050 kilograms of government-subsidized cooking oil from legitimate distribution channels.
