Kotoko handed Hearts their first loss, Lions win late

Asante Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak 1-0 on Sunday to end their opponents' unbeaten streak in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, with Morifing Donzo converting a first-half penalty at the stadium in Accra. The Porcupine Warriors maintained their own unbeaten record through nine matchdays while handing Hearts their first loss of the campaign.

Heart of Lions secured a dramatic late victory over Berekum Chelsea in Kpando, with Paul Atta Agyei scoring in the 89th minute. Vision FC overcame a numerical disadvantage to beat Eleven Wonders 2-1 in Tema despite losing Kingsley Appiah to a red card in the 28th minute, as Meshack Sowah Adjetey netted the decisive goal. Young Apostles rallied past Bechem United 3-2 at Wenchi Sports Stadium, with Vincent Mobilla striking in the 85th minute.

Aduana FC, Medeama SC, Heart of Lions and Hearts of Oak hold the top four positions following the weekend action, while Bechem United, Basake Holy Stars and Eleven Wonders occupy the relegation spots.
