Kwaku Yeboah KayT leads gospel revival with New Generation group

Gospel minister Agyei Kwaku Yeboah leads New Generation, a worship collective in Sunyani that has expanded from 20 founders in 2018 to more than 120 participants. The 34-year-old music director organizes gatherings such as April Experience and The Outpouring that attract thousands of worshippers from multiple regions.

The electrical engineering graduate from the University of Energy and Natural Resources has released an EP featuring Waye Bi Da and Great Are You Lord alongside singles All I Want and Greater Is He. Several worship leaders have emerged from his ministry, among them Fred Bonsu, Minister Justice and Abi Moss, who serve in churches across Ghana.

New Generation conducts programs at St. James Seminary, Sunyani Senior High School and Bechem PRESEC while organizing retreats for prayer and spiritual development. Yeboah cites Joe Mettle, Dunsin Oyekan and Nathaniel Bassey as influences for his seven-year ministry. His next program takes place on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 5 p.m. at TOP Church in Sunyani.
