Leicester steal a point as Phillips gifts a late own goal

Leicester City salvaged a late draw against West Bromwich Albion after Nat Phillips deflected Abdul Fatawu's cross into his net during stoppage time Friday. The Foxes secured a 1-1 result at the Hawthorns despite trailing for most of the match. Samuel Iling-Junior opened scoring for the hosts during the 10th minute with his first goal since arriving on loan from Aston Villa.

The result maintained Leicester's five-match unbeaten streak and elevated them to third place in the standings. West Brom occupies sixth position, trailing by just one point after missing chances to secure victory. Josh Maja wasted two clear opportunities for the Baggies during the final moments. Hamza Choudhury received a yellow card while serving as an unused substitute for Leicester.
