LG UltraGear 27GX700A debuts Tandem OLED tech in China with 1500 nit peak brightness

LG launches its Primary RGB Tandem technology for mainstream consumers through the Chinese market. The company debuts the UltraGear 27GX700A as the world's first Tandem OLED gaming monitor. This breakthrough display achieves 355 nits during full-screen use and reaches 1500 nits at peak performance. The technology employs four RGB layers instead of traditional single-layer OLED construction. Two blue layers combine with individual green and red layers to enhance brightness levels.

The monitor operates at 280Hz refresh rate with 2K resolution for gaming applications. Users experience 60% greater brightness compared to standard OLED panels. Display certifications feature Perfect Black, Perfect Color, and 100% Color Fidelity standards. The screen reproduces 99.5% of color ranges with HDR True Black 500 certification. Connectivity options provide DP 1.4 port compatibility for current gaming requirements.
