Machete Wielding Villager Threatens Museveni

Police caught a man who made a video threatening President Museveni. The suspect calls himself Esau and lives near Kihihi town. He appears to be around 50 years old and comes from Kamutungu village. Officers found him at his home on Monday morning. Security forces arrested him without any trouble.

Esau filmed himself talking for almost four minutes in a forest. He wore army pants and boots with a regular shirt. The man carried a large knife during the recording. He told people to watch for big news within two days. Esau said change would come whether people wanted it or not.

The video spread quickly across social media platforms. Esau blamed the president for blocking progress in Uganda. He warned government leaders to stay ready for major events. The suspect claimed he acted without hate or personal goals. He predicted the country would see things never seen before.

Soldiers and police officers worked together to find Esau. He spoke Bible verses during his arrest at home. Deputy Commissioner Gaddie Ahimbisibwe confirmed police have the suspect. Esau stays locked up at the Kihihi police station for questioning. Courts may charge him with making threats against the government.
