The Mumbai-based firm posted a net deficit of Rs 9.44 crore compared with Rs 5.29 crore from the preceding quarter. Operating revenue climbed 3.54 percent to reach Rs 1,624.59 crore against the previous period's Rs 1,569.51 crore. Total income advanced 3.69 percent to Rs 1,629.66 crore while expenses expanded at a faster 4.12 percent rate to Rs 1,635.44 crore. Higher operational costs and employee compensation drove the expense increases.
