Malaysia Day 2025 festivities will transform Butterworth into a national celebration hub at PICCA@Arena Butterworth Convention Centre. The event adopts the theme "Malaysia Madani: Rakyat Disantuni" and expects thousands of participants from northern regions. Activities commence at 9 am with RTM interactive booths, MCMC safe internet campaigns, and Penang Public Library displays. Traditional food demonstrations and costume exhibitions will showcase Malaysian heritage through three thematic zones spanning pre-independence to modern times. Main performances begin at 8:30 pm with Rentak Tradisi Pulau Mutiara, featuring Joget Joghee, Chinese Opera, and Boria artistic fusion.

Rock artist Ella leads the musical program with Suki Low, Roshini Balachandran, Dabra Sia, and Rezza Shah.
