Investigators will examine the case under criminal threat laws and domestic violence rules.

The police chief warned people against using violence to solve family problems. He urged couples to find peaceful ways to work out their differences. People should seek help from proper agencies when they cannot resolve conflicts at home. Domestic violence cases continue to rise across the region.
