A farm laborer died after tumbling from agricultural equipment while performing duties at an orchard in Kampung Bukit Rawa, Sedim, Malau, on Saturday. Police discovered the 28-year-old worker from Kampung Gelugor, Karangan, Kulim, lying motionless with facial injuries, according to Acting Baling District Police Chief Deputy Superintendent Ahmad Salimi Md Ali.
The victim had traveled to the property with another male employee responsible for maintaining the fruit trees when the accident occurred. Investigators believe he lost his balance and fell while operating the tractor during routine agricultural tasks, Ahmad Salimi said in a statement released on Sunday.
Medical examiners transported the deceased to Baling Hospital's forensic department for autopsy procedures. Authorities have designated the incident as a sudden death case pending completion of the examination.
