Mandaviya forces teachers to cycle on their day off

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will serve as the chief guest at the Fit India Sundays on Cycle event on Monday at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, celebrating World Teachers' Day. The cycling rally has evolved into a movement promoting health and sustainability, with hundreds of teachers, students, and citizens expected to participate. Athletes Sachin Yadav, Tania Sachdev, Abhishek Nain, and Rohtash Chaudhary will join the event, which anticipates nearly 1,000 participants from various educational institutions and the public.

The October 5 edition honors educators for their contributions to shaping future leaders while advancing the Fit India motto of Ek Ghanta Roz, Khel Ke Saath. Cycling offers cardiovascular benefits, mental wellness improvements, and addresses youth obesity concerns. The initiative encourages citizens to adopt cycling as a sustainable and eco-friendly exercise option.
